Not just sustainable words, but sustainable deeds. That is the motto of our customer Van Gelder. They have been on step 5 of the CO2 performance ladder for years. And continue to invest in making their activities and equipment more sustainable. They recently invested in two electric mix pump units from SiteTec – the MP750E. Both units have a capacity of 750 ltr/min @ 70 bar, with an FMC M14 pump. Besides the fact that the electrically driven unit can mix and pump drilling fluid for horizontal drilling; it is equipped with more! This results in less transport movements, to get all equipment needed on the jobsite.
Extra’s on the unit
The built-in hydraulic Palfinger crane with a carrying capacity of 7 ton/mtr, can easily lift the big bags and place them accurately in front of the hopper. This makes the unit self-sufficient on site. The stabilizers and wireless remote control ensure safe and convenient operation. With the high-pressure cleaner, all drill rods, reamers and the unit itself can be cleaned thoroughly, so the equipment remains clean and therefore lasts longer. The remaining space in the unit is used for storage cabinets that can be locked, so all equipment can be safely stored and transported. The 45-meter long high pressure hose reel is located on the back of the unit. The unit can be powered by the grid, if this option is not available, a generator can be used. This means that the unit can be used in any possible location!
