Pipe Pusher

An excavator-mounted pipe pusher that inserts PE pipe without anyone handling it in the pit. Operated from the cab, for excavators from 8 to 35 tonnes and pipe diameters up to 800 mm.

Placing the pipe is the last step of a drilling project, and the riskiest one when it is done by hand. The Pipe Pusher mounts on the excavator arm and grips the pipe, so the operator pushes it into the bore from the safety of the cab. A safety stop in the hydraulic system keeps the grip tight enough to hold the pipe and controlled enough not to damage it.
